Its been a while!
I stopped playing years ago and I am now coming back since getting out of the service. I am going to get the Trilogy & Eye of the north. My question is did they make it so I have to pay to pvp now? 20 bucks flat rate or since I am buying this can I play pvp aswell? And I will be in game as of tomorrow afternoon and will be looking for fellow people to play with and learn the ropes from! But still I must know do I have to pay for pvp now? I sure hope not the pvp in this game owns!

No...ArenaNet has never charged a fee to participate in PvP.
When you buy the game, you get PvE, PvP, and everything in between. The only "exception" is if a user purchased a PvP-only account, which I don't even think they sell anymore... |

Ahh ty, I was looking and I see they still sell the pvp accounts but I want the full game. I cant wait ether! Sucks though from what I have been reading here PvP is toast now.. That really blows! I was looking forward to stomping people like I did before i went over seas! Never the less I hear PvE is fun still so I will travel that road and venture into PVP if and when I deside I want a giggle!

They do still sell a PvP access kit in the PlayNC store, which is probably where Znejin saw it.
But no, you will not need the PvP access kit if you buy Guild Wars, the PvP access kit is just for people who want access to only the PvP areas of Guild Wars without buying a 'normal' game. |

Huge changes while you were away. 7 heroes now allowed in party means starting in Nightfall is a good idea. Then do Eye of the North. Lots of real dungeons there. Doing the dungeons solo can be quite exciting. Solo I mean with your 7 heroes. Good luck. Have fun.
